Description
AL Order Log is an app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that enables reliable and structured tracking of changes to sales and purchase orders, improving control, transparency, and audit readiness.
Tracking occurs at key events, including the release of the order and the deletion of previously released lines, ensuring that all relevant changes are recorded in the log.

During daily order management, changes to items, quantities, or prices may occur multiple times before the order is finalized.
Without a reliable history of final changes, it becomes difficult to:
- reconstruct what changed and when
- support internal and external audit activities
- identify errors or disputes
Solution
AL Order Log automatically records relevant changes at key events, creating a clear and meaningful history of modifications.
The system also supports bulk-controlled operations through the Order Log Posting Journal.
The user selects the orders to modify in the batch, optionally sets log reasons, and posts the journal.
All changes are processed through the posting mechanism, ensuring a consistent and reliable history.
The system also allows one or more sets of changes to be undone, restoring order lines to their previous state using the information stored in the log entries.
